We're hiring a Product Manager to own our speech and voice AI portfolio and set the direction of the research behind it.

You'll decide which problems we take on, what "good" means for each of them, and how the results reach customers. This role is less about managing experiments day to day, and more about making the calls that determine what the research team is pointed at: which capabilities matter, which benchmarks we hold ourselves to, and where voice AI is going next. This role reports to the product lead.

• Own product strategy for our speech portfolio–including tasks like ASR and transcription, speaker diarization, multi-speaker separation, speech enhancement, and audio understanding.
• Guide our voice AI research agenda: define the problems worth solving, the quality bar for each, and the benchmarks and datasets we measure against.
• Translate fuzzy customer problems into crisp model specs: tasks, languages, latency, accuracy targets, deployment constraints, perceptual quality bars.
• Own the path from research to deployment: sequencing, dependencies, evaluation, and the tradeoff decisions that keep work moving.
• Own model launches end-to-end: benchmarking, customer beta, documentation, and handoff to applied teams.
• Build and defend a point of view on where voice AI is heading, and where AudioShake should place its bets.

• A minimum of 4 years in product management for technical or AI products, with meaningful time shipping models to production.
• Working fluency in speech and audio ML — ASR, diarization, speech enhancement, voice isolation, source separation, audio understanding, or adjacent domains. You can read the paper, interrogate the eval, and tell a real result from a flattering one.
• Strategic range: you can make a market call, defend it, and turn it into a quarter of concrete work.
• A track record of shipping models customers depend on, not just papers or demos.
• Strong customer instincts: you've sat with users, run discovery, and translated their workflows into technical requirements.
• Comfort with ambiguity and small-team velocity. You decide and move.

• Technical enough to prototype and validate an idea yourself.
• Experience with enterprise / API customers in voice AI.
• Prior experience in a startup or zero-to-one environment.
