When audio engineer Jean-Pascal Comeau set out to mix a concert recorded at the Quebec Videotron in Dolby Atmos, he needed precise control over every element of the performance. His biggest challenge? The ambient mics were picking up both the musicians and the crowd, making it difficult to place instruments spatially without muddying the mix with background noise.
Enter AudioShake. AudioShake was able to isolate the performance from the audience noise, creating separate stems that allowed for spatial reverb, precise placement, and crystal-clear instrument definition. The result was a live Atmos mix that preserved the magic of the performance while bringing new dimensionality to the listener experience. AudioShake gave him the flexibility and fidelity needed to deliver a cutting-edge Atmos experience.
