Model

A trained AI system that takes input, such as audio, and produces an output, such as separated stems.

In machine learning, a model is a system trained on data to map inputs to outputs, for example taking a mixed recording and producing separated stems, or audio and producing a transcript. A model's quality depends on its architecture, its training data, and how it is evaluated. Purpose-built models, trained for a specific task like vocal isolation or dialogue separation, generally outperform one-size-fits-all approaches.
