Music Detection
Automatically identifying where music is present in a piece of audio or video.
Music Detection is the process of automatically finding the segments of a recording that contain music, as opposed to speech, silence, or other sound. It is used to flag rights exposure before publishing, drive cue-sheet generation, and trigger downstream processing such as music removal. Combined with fingerprinting it can also identify which specific track is present.
