To bring a beloved catalog of classic television episodes back to market, Vin Di Bona Productions faced a modern challenge: outdated music rights. While new distribution agreements allow content to be streamed, rebroadcast, or sold on today’s platforms, they also require that all music be properly licensed—a hurdle for legacy shows where original music rights may have expired, or never covered modern formats in the first place.

But before they could begin, Jaywalker had to solve a critical challenge: how to remove the old music without access to the original stems—and without disrupting the dialogue, audience reactions, or sound effects embedded in the final mix.
