Minibeats is a collaborative music video app that uses AR effects, stems, and responsive visuals to bring videos to life. It integrates fun, interactive camera lenses with a suite of intuitive musical tools to enable content creation like never before. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the classic “Green Onions” by Booker T. & The M.G.’s, Minibeats linked up with Rhino Records to bring the Rolling Stone Top 500 song to a new generation. The collaboration enables anyone to easily remix the iconic song as an interactive Snapchat lens. To make remixing possible, Minibeats turned to AudioShake to create stems for the song recorded decades ago on analog tape. These stems then allow users to make their own customized version of the song as they interact with these animated lenses, creating a custom audio-visual experience.
