Effects Separation
Isolating sound effects from the other elements of a mixed soundtrack.
Effects Separation extracts the sound-effects layer (footsteps, ambience, impacts, and other non-dialogue, non-music sound) from a mixed soundtrack. It is part of breaking content into its dialogue, music, and effects components, supporting re-mixing, localization, and the creation or reconstruction of an M&E bed.
