Open Captions

Captions permanently rendered into the video and always visible.

Open Captions are burned directly into the picture so they cannot be turned off, unlike closed captions. They are used where a separate caption track cannot be guaranteed to reach the viewer, such as social video, in-venue displays, or certain international deliveries.
