Wet

An audio signal with effects or reverb applied; the opposite of dry.

Wet refers to an audio signal that has effects applied, especially reverb or room ambience, as opposed to a dry signal with none. A wet recording carries the sound of the space it was captured in. Excessive wetness can reduce clarity, which is why de-reverb is used to recover a drier, cleaner signal.
