dBFS
Decibels relative to digital full scale, the reference for digital audio levels.
dBFS (decibels relative to Full Scale) measures digital signal level against the maximum a system can represent (0 dBFS), so all values are zero or negative. It is the baseline scale for digital metering, distinct from true-peak (dBTP) which accounts for inter-sample peaks.
