The program mix is the finished, combined audio broadcast to the audience, blending elements like commentary or dialogue, music, crowd, and effects into a single deliverable. Once committed, these elements are locked together, which is why producing a clean M&E bed or isolated dialogue from a program mix requires source separation when the original stems were not preserved.
