Mix
The combined result of blending multiple audio sources into a single recording.
A mix is the combined output produced by blending multiple individual sources, such as vocals, instruments, and effects, into a single recording. The process can be linear (a straightforward sum of sources) or non-linear once mastering and effects are applied. Once committed, a mix is difficult to take apart, which is the problem source separation solves by reconstructing the individual elements.
