A matrix-encoded stereo fold-down that preserves surround information.
Lt/Rt (Left total/Right total) is a two-channel fold-down of a surround mix that matrix-encodes center and surround content so a compatible decoder can recover a surround presentation. It contrasts with Lo/Ro (a plain stereo downmix) and is a common broadcast deliverable.
