Instrumental

An instrumental is a version of a track containing only the music, with the lead (and often background) vocals removed. Instrumentals are used for sync licensing, karaoke, live performance, remixing, and any context where vocals would distract or create rights issues. When an official instrumental doesn't exist, AI vocal removal can create one from the finished recording.
